About Jing Yi
Jing Yi is a 26 years old Female. Her BMI is 30.2 and her weight has been hovering between 65-68kg since she was 16 years old. In the beginning of 2022, her weight gradually increased to the range of 69-71kg. She and us ruled out Covid being the culprit of weight gain because it didn’t change in the last 2 years and her lifestyle was less sedentary than before.
Other issues she has includes irregular period since form 4 and gastric and/or stomach discomfort whenever she starts dieting.
Diet here refers to fasting, caloric restriction diet and skipping meals.
What has she tried before us?
Over the years, she tried Ozone Therapy, Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, visiting Dietician/Nutritionist, Weight Loss Pills, Exercising, Fasting, Low Calorie Diet, Fat Loss Massage and Body Wrapping. She tried these when she was around 18-23 years old.
In the past year, she eats only one meal a day and snacks a little at times.
How was the results?
It is hard for us to comment what helped and what didn’t because she may be trying out several methods at the same time. Anyway, the greatest experienced she had was Weight Loss Pills and Body Wrapping.
According to her, she lost about 4kgs in the first month but everything came back after a while because she couldn’t sustain the Low Calorie Diet they advised her. She was told to eat not more than 800 calories a day at the time.
🔔Weight loss was the only visible results, dark spots remained.
Health Issues She Needed Our Help
Clear and clean skin. Get rid of the dark spots
Lose weight sustainably
Better skin appearance
Irregular Period
Gastric and Stomach Issues
What we told her?
Her obesity and dark spots are related to Insulin Resistance.
Her body’s Low Metabolism and Insulin Resistance made it difficult for her to lose weight.
Her eating pattern made her metabolism worse. This is why her weight remained the same despite her fasting and/or eating much less than before.
Improving her skin’s appearance should be the last thing she needs to worry. She would definitely see good results if other conditions improve.
Constipation and Gastric issues were most probably caused by poor Gut and it would be the easiest one to go away.
Irregular period should get better as her Insulin Resistance improves.
Blood report suggests she is Pre-Diabetic but this is not our concern because it would go away once she starts losing weight.
How we helped her?
We customised Jing Yi a Dietary Guideline based on her condition. For the beginning, we told her to focus more on “what and when” instead of “how much” to eat.
We advised her to come for treatment before meal. This is to stop her from eating excessively and prevent her from having stomach pain for not eating before coming.
Lastly, we came up with a workout routine that is suitable for her. Each session is about 3 minutes. This is to help her achieve the best results while requiring her to move as little as possible.
Results
Jing Yi’s constipation and stomach issues went away in less than one week. In fact, she can do Intermittent Fasting for longer hours without feeling any discomfort.
After her 5th session, there are visible improvements of her dark spots. The darkness reduced by several tones and surface area shrank too.
At the same time, improvements on her skin’s complexion, radiance, pore size and moisture could be seen too. Her mother was so impressed that she came for our help too.
She lost weight gradually over the month and lost about 5.9kg in total.
Is it sustainable? Let’s see 😉
